Ecorobotix Secures $150m in Funding for AI-Powered Precision Spraying
Ecorobotix, a Swiss-based company, has raised $150 million across Series C and D rounds to accelerate its Plant-by-Plant AI software for precision spraying of crops.
The company, known for its ARA "smart" spraying systems, utilizes computer vision and robotics to enable precise application of pesticides and crop protection products, operating in over 20 countries.
The new funding will primarily support acceleration of Ecorobotix' Plant-by-Plant AI software - Dominique Mégret, Ecorobotix CEO
- The Plant-by-Plant system distinguishes individual plants, treating them with a spray footprint of just a few centimeters.
- This technology potentially allows growers to save on input costs and reduce chemical dependency.
