Charles Leclerc described his weekend in Qatar as “extremely difficult,” admitting his Ferrari felt unstable and unpredictable throughout qualifying. The Monegasque driver spun during Q3 and ended up in P10, marking one of his most frustrating sessions of the season.
Leclerc said the team had been chasing setup changes but failed to find a balance that worked under the demanding track conditions. He explained that the car’s rear instability made it hard to push with confidence, especially in the final sector.
“It has been extremely difficult. From the first session, we never really found the right window,” Leclerc admitted. “I was just fighting the car every lap.”
Despite the disappointing result, Leclerc expressed hope that Ferrari could recover positions in the race, relying on strategy and race pace rather than pure qualifying performance.
“We’ll reset and look forward to Sunday. The race might be another story,” he added.
