Central & South Cariboo Search

Central and South Cariboo Search and Rescue (CSSAR) is a non-profit organization that provides search and rescue services to the communities of the Central and South Cariboo regions of British Columbia, Canada.

The team has been in operation since 1996 and has responded to over 500 calls for service, with a success rate of over 90%. CSSAR operates on a volunteer basis, with members donating their time and expertise to provide search and rescue services to the community.

The team is equipped with specialized equipment and vehicles, including all-terrain vehicles, boats, and rescue gear. They also have a trained team of searchers, including ground searchers, air searchers, and water searchers.

CSSAR works closely with other emergency service agencies, including the Cariboo Regional District, the Williams Lake Search and Rescue, and the BC Ambulance Service, to provide a comprehensive search and rescue response to the community.

The team is led by a team of experienced search and rescue professionals, who have extensive training and experience in search and rescue operations.
