Lucky Kidderminster neighbour
A woman who scooped the jackpot in the UK National Lottery had a lucky neighbour who helped her claim the prize.
She had matched the six numbers drawn in the Millionaire Raffle and was due to claim her prize of £1m.
However, she was unable to collect the prize herself as she was in hospital recovering from an operation and her neighbour, who is not being named, offered to help her out.
The neighbour took the ticket to the National Lottery office in Watford and claimed the prize on the woman's behalf.
"It was a great feeling knowing that I was helping out a good friend in a time of need," said the neighbour.
The neighbour's selfless act has been praised by the National Lottery and she will receive a reward for her good deed.
It's not the first time that a good neighbour has helped out a winner, but it's certainly one of the most unusual.
