The Executive Cybersecurity Roundtable, themed “Defend, Adapt, Thrive: Cyber Resilience in the Age of Intelligent Threats,” gathered today at the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta. The event brought together over thirty senior leaders, experts, and key stakeholders from Indonesia’s financial, energy, technology, and government sectors.
Organized by SLK, an innovative Indonesia-Malaysia joint venture, the roundtable provided in-depth perspectives on the critical need to enhance cyber resilience and digital sovereignty. This urgency grows as Indonesia fast-tracks its digital transformation amid rapidly evolving cyber threats and advancements in artificial intelligence.
Arief Kusuma, an executive advisor for SLK and involved in the digital, UMKM, AI sectors as well as Korika associations, opened the session by underscoring cybersecurity as a persistent challenge across all industries.
“Today’s challenges make clear the need for all parties to contribute in shaping secure, resilient digital ecosystems,” Kusuma noted.
The roundtable emphasized the vital collaboration among government, industry, and academia. This cooperation is supported by Korika’s ongoing role as the orchestrator of Indonesia’s National AI Roadmap 2025–2045, highlighting a unified approach toward digital security and innovation.
