UHKF Launches Door-to-Door Campaign to Increase Support for Kingston Hospitals
Starting November 3, 2025, trained canvassers will visit neighbourhoods in Kingston and southeastern Ontario to promote monthly donations that enhance local healthcare.
Campaign Overview
The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) is initiating a door-to-door outreach to encourage ongoing financial support. The funds raised will be directed toward medical equipment, patient comfort, and programs that aren’t covered by government funding.
Collaboration and Security
UHKF is partnering again with GlobalFaces Direct for this campaign. All canvassers will carry official identification, which residents can verify by calling 1-833-341-0106. Donations will be securely processed using encrypted tablets compliant with Payment Compliance Industry (PCI) standards.
“The campaign gives people a chance to make a lasting impact on health care,” said Krista Ellis-Smith, Senior Development Officer at UHKF.
Goals
- Recruit over 750 new monthly donors by the end of the year
- Enhance care for approximately 650,000 residents in southeastern Ontario
Through this campaign, UHKF aims to strengthen healthcare resources and support for the regional community.
