Ellesmere Port Hospital Operator Retains Great Place to Work Title

Alternative Futures Group (AFG), a health and social care charity operating an independent hospital in Ellesmere Port, has been recognised again as one of the top employers in the North West region.

AFG is the largest charity of its kind in the North West and was certified once more by Great Place to Work, a global organisation that helps companies create positive and resilient workplaces through employee feedback and data analysis.

Great Place to Work awards certification to organisations with high job satisfaction levels where employees feel valued and trusted. This recognition places AFG among other respected employers in the region, such as Warburtons, Bensons for Beds, and Nationwide Produce PLC.

Over the past year, AFG has seen a 6% increase in colleague satisfaction across all key survey areas, with 71% of employees agreeing that AFG is a great place to work, compared to 54% at a typical UK company.

Additionally, AFG introduced its Cultural Development Programme, guided by a colleague-elected Change Network, further supporting workplace improvement.

"71 per cent of colleagues agreeing that AFG is a Great Place To Work compared to 54 per cent of employees at typical UK based company."
"Alternative Futures Group (AFG) was recognised by the global organisation which helps companies to build more successful, positive, and resilient workplaces."

Author’s summary: Alternative Futures Group demonstrates consistent progress in workplace culture, reinforcing its position as a leading employer in the North West with growing employee satisfaction and a new Cultural Development Programme.
