Between October 25 and 31, four postcodes from the North East secured prize money in the People’s Postcode Lottery. Residents are encouraged to verify whether they or their neighbours are among the winners.
Each of these postcodes received £1,000 prizes. Unfortunately, entries from County Durham and Teesside did not win this time.
The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription-based draw that supports UK charities while offering participants substantial cash prizes. Every weekend, winning postcodes can receive £30,000 per ticket, with 20 postcodes chosen daily for £1,000 prizes.
A minimum of 33 per cent from each ticket goes to charity, and since 2005, players have raised over £950 million for more than 9,000 charitable causes.
The lottery organisers have confirmed the latest list of winning postcodes and the prize amounts for each successful ticket.
