Congratulations to Dr. Nikhilesh Bappoo of Veintech and lubdub.ai for winning the 2025 Prize for New Innovators. He is recognized for developing two novel and accessible medical technologies:
Professor Yao Zheng from the University of Adelaide received the Malcolm McIntosh Prize for Physical Scientist of the Year. He is acknowledged for his pioneering work producing clean hydrogen directly from seawater, advancing Australia’s green hydrogen industry toward net zero.
Dr. David Khoury of the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, was awarded the Frank Fenner Prize for Life Scientist of the Year. His work uses applied mathematics to translate scientific research into practical evidence.
