From the Archive: Awareness-Raising Initiatives Need Tight Focus
EU funding can seem overwhelming, especially for early career researchers. The complexity, dominated by large consortia and filled with acronyms, often leaves scientists wondering, “Where is the way in?”
Research offices play a crucial role in guiding researchers through this landscape. A few years ago, the Danish Technological Institute (DTI) revamped its funding awareness program to boost researcher engagement. Their new strategy focused on deeply understanding the real funding needs of researchers.
In July 2024, three staff members from the DTI’s research office shared insights about their approach and the valuable lessons learned during its implementation.
